Finish

Elcon panels are cast in smooth steel moulds with specialised vibrating equipment which gives a very smooth totally even finish.

This means that the panels need have no render or plaster finish and can recieve paint or decorative treatment directly onto the panel.

Where available, Elcon use self - compacting concrete for it's panels which does away with the need for vibrating equipment. This makes the production of Elcon panels even more efficient by reducing the manpower needed for casting.
