Connection between panels and floor planks

Integrity of the structure is achieved by connecting panels in the vertical plane with high tensile steel bars grouted into tubes within the Elcon panels. Floors are tied to these vertical bars by a system of inter linking hooks and tie bars. Elcon structures are designed to BS 8110 including conformity with Requirement A3 of the UK Building Regulations relating to disproportionate collapse.
